Alright, let's talk about the Altered World Events trophies in Control. These are mostly tied to exploration and using your powers in specific ways, so they shouldn't give you too much trouble if you keep an eye out.

Familiar Methodologies

This one's a story trophy, so don't worry about it. You'll get it automatically just by playing through the main campaign and completing the mission 'A Dark Place'.

Chief Investigator

To snag this, you need to find 80% of the hidden locations within the Investigations Sector. Just keep exploring this area thoroughly, and you'll eventually stumble upon enough of them. Pay attention to any unusual nooks and crannies!

Vending Spree

This trophy requires you to destroy 80% of the Altered Vending Machines. You'll start seeing these in the Abandoned Offices, and there are more in Operations Centre and the Fra Mauro AWE Entrance. When you spot one, shoot it. If it animates and tries to escape, chase it down and destroy it. They drop some good mods and materials, so it's worth the effort.

The Third Thing

Another story-related trophy! You'll automatically get this one when you defeat Hartman as part of the main storyline.

Workplace Recreation

This trophy is tied to the SHÜM arcade machine located in the canteen within Active Investigations. You'll need to complete a full round of either Crowd Control or Deadline mode on it.

Surge of Power

To get this, you need to fully upgrade your Surge ability. Keep finding Power cores and using them at Control Points to level up your abilities.

Surge Protector

You'll need to get 50 enemy kills using the Surge ability. Just focus on using Surge whenever you're in a fight, and you'll rack these up pretty quickly.

Elevated Mind

This trophy asks you to defeat 25 Airborne Rangers. These are the flying enemies that can be a bit tricky. Keep an eye out for them and prioritize taking them down when they appear.

In-depth Investigations

Similar to the Chief Investigator trophy, this one requires you to find 80% of the collectibles specifically within the Investigations Sector. Again, thorough exploration is key here.

Work Smarter, Not Harder

This is a neat one that involves using your Surge ability creatively. You need to attach a Surge grenade to an object, and then launch that object at an enemy. It's a bit of a specific move, so try to find a good object near some enemies and give it a shot.

Multiple Applications

This trophy is all about mastering the Multi-Launch ability. Once you've unlocked it, find a group of enemies. Pick up an object with telekinesis, then use the aim button (L2 twice) to grab two more objects. Finally, launch all three projectiles at the enemy group (R2). It might take a few tries, but you'll get the hang of it without too much trouble.
