Start by building a Sherman tank and upgrading the BAR rifle for your infantry.

Use snipers to scout. Avoid the motorcycle unit near the first bridge.

Capture the high ammo point adjacent to your base. Maintaining at least +40 ammo is crucial for this mission.

Consider using Airborne units: drop three squads, get the recoiless upgrade, and use it to destroy tanks. Supply drops can also be helpful. Alternatively, an infantry strategy with rangers supported by a halftrack is effective against convoys but takes longer.

To maximize casualties against Axis convoys, observe their patterns. Use an upgraded Halftrack, your starting Wolverine, and your Sherman. Support heavy vehicles with infantry and have an engineer follow to repair them. Avoid venturing north until Axis defenses are cleared, as it's suicidal for heavy vehicles.

Gradually capture the bridge, sweeping from bottom to top. Germans will retreat. To earn the Medal of Honor, keep the pocket open until you reach 80-90% of your quota. AI allies will capture points independently; monitor them.

A general strategy: use two squads of rifle infantry to capture points and bridges. Leave rangers with tanks/halftrack to intercept convoys. If rifle infantry get pinned, withdraw them and use a Sherman for support. Build two Shermans so they can take turns being repaired.

If you have spare ammo, use a sniper for a bombing run on the Axis base in the top-left area. Do this after reaching 60% quota to ensure enough enemies remain if you're aiming for the medal.

Watch for red flares, indicating Axis artillery barrages. Move clear immediately to avoid heavy damage.

After closing the pocket, you'll return to the map screen. Defend against the final Axis counterattack, which will involve numerous panzers. Consolidate your forces and engage them individually. If they group up, use bombers for an area attack. Once the panzers are destroyed, the mission is complete.
