Golgra Duel in Gestral Village

Return to Gestral Village in the endgame of clair obscur expedition 33 to challenge Golgra.

Familiarize yourself with Golgra's attack patterns by fighting her in the Sacred River for Monoco’s quest and at the end of the Dark Gestral Arena, though her stats will be lower than in Gestral Village.

Equip the 'Painted Power' Lumina, ensuring your weapons are at least Level 28, as Golgra has approximately 3.5 million HP.

Equip 'Solo Fighter' and other Solo Lumina from the first Gestral Arena for a damage increase, such as 'Powerful', '100% Critical Rate', and other boons.

Equip 'Cheater' Lumina for an Energy Tint or extra damage, which is especially valuable when fighting alone.

Equip 'First Strike' Lumina to negate the advantage most endgame enemies have in acting first.

Equip 'Energising Start/Turn' Lumina to potentially allow you to kill Golgra before she gets a turn, especially when combined with 'First Strike'.

Equip any other damage-boosting Lumina, such as 'First Offensive' and 'Glass Cannon', as Golgra hits for approximately 80,000-90,000 HP.

Focus on an offensive build to end the battle quickly, ideally within one or two double turns.

Dodge or parry Golgra's 'Fast Combo' (three hits in normal state).

When Golgra reaches 50% HP or less, she will 'get angry' and buff herself with Powerful and Rush. Her 'Fast Combo' will gain an additional hit with slight delays.

When Golgra 'Shakes the Earth', jump immediately to avoid the first attack, then prepare to avoid her subsequent 'Gradient Attack' as you land.

Be wary of Golgra's 'Long Combo' (six hits with varying speeds), which is a common cause of defeat, especially when she is angered.
