Hey there! So, you're diving into Advanced Warfare and landed on the 'Crash' mission. It's a pretty intense one, right after the Sentinel mission. You and the Sentinel Task Force are hot on the tail of an Atlas plane carrying something super important: the Manticore sample. The Mission: Crash This is mission number nine in the campaign. The main goal is to get that Manticore sample before Atlas can get their hands on it. You'll be in Antarctica, which is pretty wild. What's Happening? After tracking the Atlas plane, Cormack and Mitchell manage to bring it down. They land on the aircraft, use plasma cutters to shear off the wings, and then a drone helps guide the plane to a crash landing in the Darwin Glacier. Sentinel forces are there to secure the cargo, but Atlas shows up fast in drop pods from their Orbital Platform. Things get chaotic as Sentinel and Atlas forces fight over the cargo. You'll eventually get the cargo onto a Guardian 5, but it gets shot down. Ilona, Cormack, and Mitchell fall into a ravine and have to fight their way back up. A Twist with Gideon When you finally reach the crash site of the Guardian 5, you'll find the crew executed and Atlas securing the cargo. You might even fall through the ice into the water, but don't worry, Gideon shows up. He's an Atlas guy, but he's acting strangely. He tells you to trust him and then reports to Atlas that the Sentinel troops are dead, even killing his own teammates, Juarez and Michaels. He then helps you shoot down a Warbird with Stinger missiles. Things get even crazier with an avalanche, and you'll need to secure one module of the cargo before it's buried. The good news is, you and Gideon get extracted by a Sentinel helicopter. Loadout and Weapons For this mission, you'll be using the Assault Exo Type, which gives you Boost Jump, Sonics, and Mag Gloves. Your starting weapons are the HBRa3 with a Target Enhancer and the KF5. Keep an eye out, as you can also find the HBRa3 (sometimes with a Grenade Launcher), Bal-27, IMR (on PC and next-gen), SN6, and ASM1 during the mission. Just stay sharp, stick with your team when you can, and keep an eye on Gideon – he's a bit of a wildcard in this one!
