This is a personal account of a successful run on Wake Island as the Japanese in Battlefield 1942. The author details their experience starting as an Allied assault, using vehicles, and employing aerial tactics to gain an advantage.

The player begins by spawning as an Allied assault at the village to acquire a jeep. They quickly eliminate an enemy assault, capture the flag, and proceed to use the jeep to run over enemies at the south and beach bases. A successful jump onto the landing beach allows for further enemy eliminations with the jeep and the BAR. The player then transitions to a bomber, destroying enemy targets at the village and North base with dive bombs. After a near-fatal crash and a successful parachute deployment, the player sneaks to a defgun, runs out of ammo, and reloads. While hiding in a house, they engage and defeat an enemy, securing the flag. After getting health, the player is killed by a tank shell fired into the building.
