Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct primarily uses an auto-save system, which triggers at key moments, such as completing objectives, entering new areas, or after significant combat encounters. However, you can also manually save your progress at Nora terminals, the red vending machine-like stations found throughout Facility 3826. Interacting with Nora allows you to save your game, craft items, and upgrade your weapons and abilities. It's highly recommended to save frequently, especially before entering potentially dangerous areas or boss fights. Losing progress due to an unexpected death can be frustrating, so make Nora your best friend. Look for the distinctive red glow and the comforting voice of Nora to ensure your progress is secured.
