Shriekers are a terrifying addition to the mutated organic threats in Atomic Heart 2, known for their piercing sonic screams that can disorient and damage Major P-3. These agile, bird-like creatures often attack from the air or from elevated positions, making them difficult to pinpoint. Their primary weapon is their sonic shriek, which not only deals damage but also temporarily impairs P-3's vision and aim, leaving him vulnerable to other enemies. Their speed and tendency to attack in groups make them a high-priority target.

To effectively counter Shriekers, quick reflexes and accurate aiming are paramount. Weapons with a high rate of fire, such as the Kalashnikov or the Shotgun, are ideal for taking them down before they can unleash their disorienting screams. Aim for their heads or exposed biological sacs, which are their primary weak points. If you can anticipate their attack, using the Stun Glove's electric discharge can interrupt their shrieking animation and stun them, providing a brief window for a decisive strike. Environmental acoustics can also play a role; try to lure them into enclosed spaces where their screams might be amplified, potentially affecting them as well, or use the environment to block their line of sight and prevent them from targeting you effectively.
