In the beginning, there were the gods, and the greatest among them was Veldan, the god of Earth. Veldan, in his wisdom, created the land upon which we stand from the essence of insubstantial clouds. After his creation, Veldan descended onto the land, specifically to the great stone in Silvest, to survey all that he had made. Seeing the fruits of his labors, he was content. The land was formed from Veldan's wisdom, artistry, and generosity.
