Need to grab some sheets from the laundry room in A Way Out? Follow this guide to sneak into the backroom, distract guards, and make your getaway with Leo and Vincent.
Alright, so you're in the laundry room and need to snag some sheets. First things first, you gotta get into the backroom. The easiest way is to grab a cart from the other side of the room. There's an inmate over there who's keeping an eye on them, so you'll need to convince him to let you have one. You can talk him into it, or if you're playing as Leo, you can always just knock him out and stash him in the storage room.
Once you've got a cart, push it back towards the laundry room area. Look to your left – you'll see a long table piled high with white sheets. Have the character who isn't pushing the cart grab a bunch of these sheets and load them up. Keep doing this until the characters mention they have enough.
Now for the sneaky part. Head back to where the carts are. One of you needs to hop into a cart. The other character then needs to push this cart all the way to the backroom – you know, the one with the two guards right at the entrance. Don't sweat it if the guards check the cart; the sheets inside should do a good enough job of hiding your buddy.
So, one character is now in the backroom, but the other still needs to get in. For the character outside, head over to where some other inmates are ironing clothes. To create a distraction, slap one of them on the back of the head. This will kick off a big argument, and the guard stationed near the backroom door will come over to break it up. With the guard out of the way, the character who's still outside can now slip into the backroom.
Here's the tricky bit: the character already inside the backroom needs to unlock the door for the other. Make sure neither of the guards sees you doing this. You'll want to drop the sheets you're carrying on the ground first. Once the door's unlocked and both of you are in the backroom, your objective changes to stealing the sheets.
The backroom is crawling with guards, so you'll need to stick to the shadows and use the walls for cover. Head back to the cart of sheets and grab them together. Then, make your way to the locker room area on the left. You'll find two lockers there. One of you needs to help the other climb up so they can balance on the electrical panels along the wall.
While one character is up on the wall, they can start passing the sheets through the small, barred window just above the lockers. The character on the wall should stay put. The other character needs to go back and forth between the cart of sheets and the window, handing the sheets up to their partner. Keep doing this until all the sheets are through the window. A cutscene will play, and you'll be done with this part.
