Complete A Plague Tale: Requiem Chapter 13 walkthrough, covering finding a way to the surface, crossing the rat nest, and reaching the port.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Follow Lucas up a slope and climb over debris to have Amicia's shoulder joint popped back in.
  2. 2
Climb over the debris successfully and follow Lucas up stairs to the left.
  3. 3
Grab a bag of Pieces from the shelf to your right and go through an opening.
  4. 4
Find a chest containing materials, two bags of Pieces, and a Tool.
  5. 5
Leave through the nearby grate and grab materials from a chest opposite.
  6. 6
Head through the door at the top to rejoin Lucas and Hugo, and use the workbench.
  7. 7
Head up the stairs and turn right, following the passageway.
  8. 8
You will see an unreachable opening; look right to find a passageway blocked by a cart.
  9. 9
The door to the adjacent room is locked, but you can target the chain securing it with your sling through the grille of the room to the right.
  10. 10
Enter the room and grab materials from a chest in the passageway beyond.
  11. 11
Pull the nearby cart towards you to unblock the passage.
  12. 12
Head back around and go through the newly opened doorway.
  13. 13
Hop over a barrier to the left and pick up the Pyrite on a barrel.
  14. 14
Pull the cart here to reveal a hole in the wall which you can squeeze through.
  15. 15
Examine the mess of papers on the desk to unlock the Mess souvenir (21/21).
  16. 16
Return to the previous room and use the post and your crossbow to launch a rope and grapple at a cart on the upper level before pulling it down.
  17. 17
The cart rolls down a slope. Return to the previous area and try to pull the cart out of the doorway in which it is wedged.
  18. 18
Push the cart instead, as suggested by Lucas.
  19. 19
When you regain control, grab a torch from the sconce and head down the slope.
  20. 20
Avoid the pool of liquid and cloud of gas left by a bursting sac ahead.
  21. 21
Follow the path to the right, avoiding sacs.
  22. 22
Head up a slope where several sacs to your right will burst, leaving a narrow path.
  23. 23
Continue along the path and go right when it forks.
  24. 24
At the end of the tunnel, a giant sac on the wall will burst.
  25. 25
Start sprinting when you regain control, climb a ledge, and keep running as the camera inverts.
  26. 26
Drop down from a ledge and sprint down the tunnel as sacs burst around you, eventually reaching a campfire.
  27. 27
Run up the slope and make your way towards the lights in the distance.
  28. 28
Hugo uses his command voice to clear rats blocking your path.
  29. 29
Drop down and continue towards the lights.
  30. 30
Wait for the three soldiers ahead to split up and ignore the axeman who stays behind.
  31. 31
Head left and take out the wandering spearman with a headshot (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill) (a shot to the head).
  32. 32
Make your way around a rat mound to the left of a cart to find two pieces of Episanguis.
  33. 33
Be careful of a shielded soldier; wait until his back is to you and take him out with a headshot.
  34. 34
Take out the patrolling crossbowman with a crossbow bolt.
  35. 35
Help yourself to materials, two bags of Pieces, and a Tool from a large chest.
  36. 36
Go past the fallen pillar to your left and up a ledge.
  37. 37
Take out the axeman and crossbowman patrolling this area.
  38. 38
Grab materials and a bag of Pieces from a chest.
  39. 39
Drop down from a ledge on the right.
  40. 40
Wait for the armored soldier and grenadier to be looking away, then make your way across the area past a high ledge.
  41. 41
At the other end, break the chain securing a cart with your sling.
  42. 42
The cart will roll down to the ledge. Wait for the soldiers' alert state (how aware they are of your presence) to go down and climb the ledge when it's safe.
  43. 43
Head through a door ahead to escape the area.
  44. 44
Drop down and make your way to the long grass in front of a pair of buildings.
  45. 45
Use Extinguis on the torch of the nearby axeman to have the rats deal with him.
  46. 46
Head through the doorway on the left and throw some tar at the nearest torch to scatter the rats, then run to the brazier.
  47. 47
Go through the door ahead and hide behind crates.
  48. 48
Wait for the patrolling grenadier to get close and kill him with your crossbow, or use the jar of tar on the shelf to your right.
  49. 49
Head out the other side of the building and climb the stairs to the upper level.
  50. 50
Be careful of alerting an axeman across the way while grabbing materials and a bag of Pieces from a chest, and another bag of Pieces from a shelf.
  51. 51
Head back down the stairs and look on a table decorated with floral wreaths to find a Knife (Note: the knife is not here in New Game+).
  52. 52
Go left through the gateway and follow the wall round to a ledge.
Tips
  • When you first gain control, grab the bag of Pieces on the shelf to your right immediately.
  • Look for a workbench early in the chapter to upgrade your gear.
  • When crossing the rat nest, keep moving and avoid the glowing sacs.
  • Use Hugo's command voice to clear paths blocked by rats when necessary.
  • In combat encounters, prioritize taking out ranged enemies like crossbowmen and grenadiers first.
  • Use the environment to your advantage, such as long grass for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (a position or object that hides you) and flammable objects to lure rats.
  • Breaking the chain on the cart near the end of the port section can create a distraction or clear a path.
