Equip your Voidtrain survivor with the right protection. Learn about Light Armor, Utility Suits, and Medium Armor sets detailing their defense and bonuses.

Armor protects you from enemy attacks and environmental hazards. It comes in various sets, each offering different levels of protection and potential bonuses.

Light Armor:

• Basic Explorer Suit: Minimal protection, high mobility.
• Light Utility Suit: Offers slight protection and often includes bonuses to carrying capacity or tool efficiency.

Medium Armor:

• Reinforced Explorer Suit: Good balance of protection and mobility, suitable for most mid-game encounters.
• Combat Vest: Focuses on ballistic protection, often with extra utility slots.

Heavy Armor:

• Void-Forged Exosuit: Maximum protection, but often reduces mobility. Essential for dangerous zones and boss fights.
• Hazard Suit: Provides resistance to specific environmental damage (e.g., radiation, extreme cold/heat).

Armor sets can often be crafted at an Armor Workbench using materials like Refined Metal, Synthetic Fabric, and Voidweave. Upgrading armor improves its damage resistance and durability. Some advanced armor pieces might also offer passive buffs like increased stamina regeneration or reduced hunger/thirst drain.
