    After a (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)) at the Daily Bugle, go to the roof as instructed by Nick Fury.

    Infiltrate the Latvarian Embassy.

    You will be blasted out by the Green Goblin; pursue him.

    Chase the Green Goblin, staying above him and watching your (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) (lower right hand map).

    When the Goblin stops, he will lob fire bombs; avoid them as he has good aim.

    Around south of Central Park, the Goblin will push down a billboard, trapping people in cars. Complete (strength tests) to save them, expecting to take damage.

    After saving the civilians, continue the chase to begin the two-stage boss fight.

Boss Fight: Green Goblin

Stage 1:

  1. Avoid the Goblin's fire bombs and leaps. Do not attack him while he is covered in fire, as this acts as an impenetrable shield.
  2. When the Goblin charges up, he will fire a double fire bomb that is very hard to avoid. To dodge this, either run to one side and perform a quick double jump, or jump on the first bomb and (webzip) out of his line of fire on the last one.
  3. Once the Goblin performs the double fire bomb attack, he is open for attack. Knock him on his back to land two good combos.
  4. When the Goblin's health reaches about half, he will grab you by the leg, leap, and toss you into a building.

Stage 2:

  1. The Goblin is slightly easier as he no longer uses the double fire bomb attack.
  2. He will throw a fire bomb and then jump after you.
  3. Eventually, he will charge, jump high, and send out a ring of fire. This leaves him wide open.
  4. Attack him with as many combos as you can while he is vulnerable.
  5. Once knocked out, a (cutscene) will begin.
Tips
  • Upgrading your life through combat tours is recommended to withstand damage during the civilian rescue.
  • The double fire bomb in Stage 1 is difficult to avoid; practice the timing for dodging.
  • Exploit the openings after the Goblin's major attacks in both stages to deal damage.
