Once you have purchased a new plot of land in Two Point Campus, you can either wait for construction to complete or do other things and return later. To expand your campus boundaries, zoom out of the map and rotate it to an overhead plan view to see your land and potential upgrades. Move your cursor around the areas surrounding your campus; purchasable land will have a dotted line around it.
You can perform these actions while the game is paused. Click on the desired land area to see its cost and building time. Select the purchase option, and a construction fence will appear, initiating the building process. Ensure the game is unpaused, as purchases will not proceed in Pause mode.
