Master "you ain't seen nothin' yet!" in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 with this strategy for high scores and gold medals.
Walkthrough
- 1From the start, head down the ramp and up the other side performing a fastplant +720 Benihana for approximately 6000 points.
- 2Come back down, turn right, and follow the path up a quarterpipe to start grinding.
- 3While grinding, incorporate one or two kickflips.
- 4If you have enough speed, jump the gap at the end of the lip, perform a kickflip, and then grind the lip of the metal halfpipe.
- 5After these steps, your score should be around 40,000 points.
- 6Hop off into the halfpipe. If you have sufficient speed, perform a nollie + 720 madonna. If not, perform a kickflip and land, then execute the nollie + 720 madonna on your next air opportunity.
- 7By this point, your special bar should be full, allowing you to perform your nollie + 4000 pt. signature move three times.
- 8Your score should now be approximately 60,000 points (give or take 10,000), which is enough for gold.
- 9You should have about 30 seconds remaining to skate until time runs out.
Other Scoring Areas:
- Middle Rails: These rails are designed so that catching the first one ramps you towards the next.
- Tunnel Rails: A tunnel leads to a rail that provides easy access to two other rails. It's possible to chain kickflip + grind + kickflip + grind + kickflip + grind + a dismount trick as the rails decrease in height and lead into each other. The author finds it easier to approach this sequence from the opposite direction.
- The Bowl: A standard bowl area for free skating.
Tips
- This course is considered the hardest but is very fun.
- Consistent practice is required, especially for the grinds.
- Some levels are sized down in 2 player mode to ensure smooth performance.
