Locate healers across Cyrodiil in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Find NPCs for various services, including the cure for vampirism, in chapels and shrines.

This guide lists healers available in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Many can be found in chapels dedicated to specific Divines, while others are located in shrines or specific guild halls. Some healers require the completion of the Knights of the Nine DLC.

Cure for Vampirism Quest Walkthrough:

To seek a cure for vampirism, you will first need to speak with Raminus Polus at the Arcane University in the Imperial City. He will direct you to Count Janus Hassildor in Skingrad. After speaking with Hal-Liurz at Castle Skingrad, you will meet with the Count. He will ask for your help in gathering ingredients for the cure.

The first step is to find Melisande at Drakelowe, located in the wilderness east of the Imperial City and south of Cheydinhal. She requires five Empty Grand Soul Gems. These can be found in the following locations:

• Crayfish Cave (south-east of Drakelowe)
• Nornal (west of Drakelowe)
• Squandered Mine (north-east of Drakelowe)

Additional Empty Grand Soul Gems can be found in the Mages Quarters of the Arcane University, within glass cases in the Chorrol Mages Guild, or in the basement of Drakelowe. They may also be found in random dungeon chests if you are Level 11 or above, or stocked by magical item merchants at Level 12.

Once you have collected the five gems and given them to Melisande, she will provide a list of further ingredients: six cloves of Garlic, five nightshade leaves, and two shoots of bloodgrass. You will also need the blood of an Argonian and the ashes of a powerful vampire.
