Follow this guide to complete the Gadeneri Ralvel quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, find the skull, and unlock the Risen Flesh Greater Power.

Alright, let's tackle the Gadeneri Ralvel quest. We need to head into Knifepoint Hollow cave to start. Once inside, make a left and deal with any undead you find. Keep heading left at the next intersection, and you'll need to drop down into a pit. This leads to the door for the Chantry.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Once you're through the door into the Chantry, make your way south. You'll find a metal door; go through it, and it'll loop you back around to the east.
  2. 2
Take a left at the next intersection, heading north now. Be careful as you go up the hill, there's a licking plant trap waiting around the bend.
  3. 3
Continue east, and you'll pass through another metal door. Keep an eye out for Zealots to fight along the way.
  4. 4
Head all the way to the end of this hall until you see an open gate. Go through it and then head north up some stairs, leading to another metal door.
  5. 5
On the right side of the gate, you'll see a green face button. Press it to enter the next area.
  6. 6
Look for the left pillar and go behind it to find another switch. Activating this will open a chamber to the east.
  7. 7
Head into this newly opened chamber to grab the skull.
  8. 8
Now, we need to backtrack. Leave the Chantry by heading west and going through the door that takes you back into Knifepoint Hollow.
  9. 9
Once back in Knifepoint Hollow, find the button on the right side. Press it, and you'll drop back down into the room where you previously descended the pit.
  10. 10
Finally, head south and leave the ruins.
Tips
  • After you've collected all five skulls, return them to the spirits waiting at The Hill of Suicides. Doing this for each skull will grant you a 'Fortify Fatigue' buff of 100 points for 1200 seconds.
  • Once all five spirits are freed, you'll be rewarded with the Greater Power known as 'Risen Flesh'.
