Weekly Ritual "Event"

The Weekly Ritual is an event available every weekend that helps you reach 100% of goal points for its category in Effect Modes. Playing Modes with the "Event" sign grants points towards this goal. You will also frequently receive an avatar upon playing. If an avatar reward is already unlocked, it converts into 100 to 150 XP Points. After the Weekly Ritual ends, return to Effect Modes to claim your new unlocked avatar. You can still earn points and potentially avatars during the event even if the target is already met, but you will not receive an avatar after the event concludes if the target was already 100%.

Avatar

There are a total of 200 Avatars to unlock in Tetris Effect: Connected. Some avatars are unlocked by completing all Challenges in your personal data. Avatars can be found across five categories: Journey, Space, Animals, Others, and Event.

Hidden Stage

A hidden stage called "1989" can be found in Effect Modes once you reach Level 50. Its theme is inspired by the 1989 Game Boy Classic version of Tetris.

Leaderboards

Although Tetris Effect: Connected is a single-player game, your score data appears on online Leaderboards alongside other players' records. You can check the Leaderboards by pressing the Square button while in Journey Mode or Effect Modes. After achieving new High Scores, such as in Journey Mode, there may be a short wait for your score to update. In Journey Mode, there are 7 types of scores on the Leaderboard: Total Score (from Area 1 to Area 7, with different scores for each difficulty), Area High Score (your total high score for each Area, with different scores for each difficulty), and The Zone (your highest number of Lines cleared in a single Zone). An internet connection is required to view the Leaderboards.

1984 Stage Unlock

A secret stage called "1984" can be unlocked for Effect Modes. To unlock it, first ensure your keyboard is connected if you are on PS4. While on the "Press Any Button" screen in the main menu, use your controller to input the following sequence: UP|UP|DOWN|DOWN|LEFT|RIGHT|LEFT|RIGHT|O|X|OPTIONS. On the black Russian screen that appears, type "06061984" using the keyboard and press "Enter". This stage can then be found between Marathon or Quick Play in Effect Modes. This stage can be unlocked at any time, not just on June 6.
