There are a few different types of fertilizer you can use, each with its own benefits. Some help increase the chance of getting quality crops (like the regular or Deluxe versions of Quality Fertilizer), while others speed up how fast your crops grow (Speed-Gro!). And don't forget about Retaining Soil, which can help keep your crops watered overnight – a real lifesaver if you're short on time or energy.

Most of these fertilizers are crafted using recipes you unlock as you level up your Farming skill. Others can be bought from Pierre's General Store in town, or sometimes from the Oasis in the desert. Keep an eye on which ones are available and when, as some have special conditions, like only being available after Year 2 or on specific days of the week.

Here's a rundown of the fertilizers you can get:

• Basic Fertilizer — This is your entry-level fertilizer. It gives a small boost to your soil quality, increasing your chances of growing quality crops. You can craft it once you hit Farming Level 1, or just buy it from Pierre's for 100G. It sells back for only 2G, so don't plan on making a profit selling it!
• Speed-Gro — Want your crops to grow faster? This is the one. It's guaranteed to increase growth rate by at least 10%. You'll learn to craft it at Farming Level 3. Pierre sells it for 100G. It sells for 20G.
• Basic Retaining Soil — This one's a bit different. It gives your soil a chance to stay watered overnight, which is super handy. You get the crafting recipe at Farming Level 4. Pierre sells it for 100G, and it sells back for 4G.
• Deluxe Speed-Gro — This is the premium version of Speed-Gro, boosting growth by at least 25%! You'll need Farming Level 8 to craft it. Pierre sells it for 150G, but you can also grab it from the Oasis for 80G on Thursdays. Just a heads-up, this one is only available from Year 2 onwards. It sells for 40G.
• Quality Fertilizer — Similar to Basic Fertilizer, but better! It improves soil quality to increase your chances of growing quality crops. You'll unlock the crafting recipe at Farming Level 9. It costs 150G at Pierre's and sells for 10G.
