Explore the diverse and dangerous inhabitants of Star Citizen's universe. Learn about Rippers, Sonaks, Chargers, Raiks, and more in this comprehensive enemy guide.

This section details various enemies and creatures encountered in Star Citizen, providing insights into their behavior, abilities, and weaknesses.

4. RIPPERS

These enemies reside below the surface and are often found in packs. They are extremely dangerous, especially during the Mecc campaign, attacking with huge claws or spitting fire. When underground, a part of their bodies is visible, warning trespassers. Rippers serve the Sea Reapers and come in three sizes:

  • Small: Move slowly and remain on the surface. Attack with teeth. Spawn from small Ripper husks that can be destroyed to prevent more from appearing.
  • Medium: Tougher than small Rippers. Move at medium speed above and below ground. Launch flaming projectiles. When killed, leave a glowing sphere that restores a moderate amount of health.
  • Large: The most fearsome Rippers. Faster above and below ground. Deal massive damage with claws, teeth, and blue fireballs. The glowing orb they leave behind restores a significant amount of health.

5. SONAK

These are large, elephant-like beasts used by Reaper Guards for transportation. Their hard skin makes them difficult to kill, and gun turrets can be mounted on their backs. Sonaks can cause the ground to shake by stomping, making enemies lose balance and health. They can also use bellowing to release sound waves that harm enemies and temporarily disable a Mecc's jetpack ability.

6. CHARGER

This territorial creature stays in its chosen area and charges at trespassers. Its huge body and great speed can cause instant death or send targets flying. It is impossible to harm a Charger with any weapon except by shooting its mouth. Be extremely careful of its charge, as it can rip you to pieces. Aim for the mouth with the strongest weapon and retreat after shooting, as you might still be hit by the charge.

7. RAIKS

Evil servants of Queen Sappho, Raiks have the torso of a woman and the lower body of a wasp. They possess magical powers including turbo, cloak, and teleport spells. They attack with spells, bows, and swords. Often found near Reaper Guards or guarding open areas. They require at least six bullets/spells/arrows to the head to be killed.

8. QUEEN SAPPHO

The most powerful and evil of the Sea Reapers. She rules her kin after they were forced to live at sea by Kabuto. Sappho wants her people to thrive and rule over all races. She created her daughter, Delphi, intending her to be an ally, but Delphi proved rebellious and hates Meccs.

9. CLEANERS

These parasites live under the surface and emerge to feast on dead creatures. They appear in large groups, the number depending on the size of the creature, and devour everything. After feeding, they return underground.

10. PIRANHA

Carnivorous fish found in all bodies of water. They attack Meccs but do not harm Delphi or Kabuto.

11. VERMS

Flying creatures that attack on sight by launching fire. They lay eggs from which new Verms hatch. Shoot the eggs before they hatch.

12. DACTYL, LOBIRD and FLAKS

Harmless birds often seen flying lazily around the islands. They are not worth shooting unless you are extremely accurate and have a lot of ammo.
