Unlock all the best shortcuts in SSX Tricky! gondee's guide reveals how to use blue and red SSX signs to skip tricky sections and shave off valuable time.
Hey there! So, you're diving into SSX Tricky and want to shave some serious time off your runs? Awesome! This guide from gondee is all about finding those hidden paths and secret routes. We'll go through how to use those blue and red SSX signs to your advantage, skip some of the nastiest parts of the track, and get you way ahead of the competition. Let's get you to that finish line faster than ever!
Walkthrough:
Right after you start, keep an eye out for a set of blue SSX signs. Smashing through one of these will drop you into a shallow stream. A little further on, after a few turns, you'll see another blue sign on a banked turn. Hitting this one is key because it lets you skip a really brutal turn later on.
Just past those first blue signs, look to your right. You'll spot a red SSX sign. This one sends you through a short tunnel with a fan, and it spits you out right before the cool glass tunnel that has a ramp.
Once you're in that glass tunnel, boost forward without jumping as you reach the end. This will drop you into a large underground tunnel. Trust me, this shortcut saves you a ton of time!
After you exit that underground tunnel, you'll see some cables in the middle of the main tunnel. If you slow down a bit at the end of the previous tunnel, you can grind these cables. They lead to another underground tunnel, this one with fans. This second shortcut dumps you out in the valley between two ramps, just before you hit the big billboard jump.
Ahead of you, you'll see a big ice face. Riding this leads to some suspended plastic tunnels in the sky. These will pop you out way past all the super-steep banked ice turns in the next section, making that part a breeze.
If you happen to miss that ice face, or fall out of the tunnels, don't sweat it. There's a red SSX sign off to the far left. This one leads to a long, flat cable grind that also bypasses those annoying ice turns.
Near the end of either of those shortcuts (the ice face or the cable grind), you'll come to a ravine. You can either grind the rails or jump over it to get to the
