The Royal Palace — Split Fiction Walkthrough

Level Introduction: Navigate hazardous corridors with tricky platforming. Zoe destroys a panel, revealing cables for Mio to destroy. Mio uses Gravity Shift to walk on a wall, destroying a target to release a cable for Zoe to swing across a pit. Zoe grabs and drags a container for Mio to stand on, then moves it along the corridor while Mio avoids hazards. Mio enters a tunnel, destroying pink cargo netting, while Zoe destroys crates. Both characters proceed through a room, avoiding green sludge and using their abilities (Zoe's Wallrun, Mio's Gravity Shift) to reach a door. Zoe destroys another panel, revealing cables for Mio to destroy, opening the door.

Next Room Puzzle: Mio destroys glass and uses Gravity Shift to reach panels on the far side, opening a cylinder. Zoe uses her whip to grab a container and throw it into the open cylinder, stopping gears for Mio to cross safely. Mio uses their whip to open the door to the right.

Ceiling Traverse: Mio uses Gravity Switch to leap to the ceiling. Proceed through the corridor, destroy glass to the left, and enter the next room.

Container Pit Puzzle: Mio hits connecting struts below large containers in order, allowing Zoe to cross the pit safely by jumping onto each strut.

Ventilation Shaft: Zoe moves to the end of the room and destroys a vent cover. Both characters enter the vent. Mio uses Gravity Shift to return to the same surface as Zoe.

Bar and Node Puzzle: Zoe uses their whip on a bar at the end of the room, turning it until a pink node is exposed for Mio to destroy. This process needs to be completed twice (turning the bar left and right) to open the door.

Sky Traffic Traversal: Navigate across vehicles using traversal abilities, grappling points, wall running, swinging, and Gravity Shift.

Pink Node and Truck Control: Reach a truck with a pink node. Zoe stands on a box while Mio attacks the node, sending Zoe to the next truck. Zoe uses her whip to throw crates at glass covering Gravity Shift panels. Mio uses Gravity Shift to reach the truck's front. Zoe grabs an arm on their truck and drags it back for Mio to attach to. Mio swings to the next truck. Zoe moves the arm back, allowing Mio to swing to the next truck. Mio takes control of a truck to allow Zoe to progress. Zoe jumps to a ladder on the back of the truck and moves forward to the next truck, with Mio ensuring alignment. Mio disengages from truck controls and moves to the same truck, using a Gravity Switch panel to rejoin Zoe.

Cylindrical Truck Hatch: Both characters progress to a cylindrical truck with a green latch on the back, which Zoe interacts with to open. Both characters use the appearing ramp to enter the truck, avoiding green hazard on the floor by jumping from platform to platform.
