The Chronal Rifts — Split Fiction Walkthrough

Level Introduction: Start by navigating hazardous corridors with tricky platforming. Zoe destroys a panel, revealing cables for Mio to destroy. Zoe then uses her whip to grab a door, which she opens with the analog stick. Mio uses Gravity Shift to walk on a wall, destroying a target holding a cable. Zoe swings across a pit using the released cable, requiring a well-timed double jump and boost.

Cooperative Puzzles: Zoe grabs and drags a container for Mio to jump on. They move the container along the corridor, with Mio avoiding hazards. Mio destroys pink cargo netting in a tunnel, and Zoe uses her whip to destroy crates. Both characters proceed through a room, avoiding green sludge and using their abilities (Zoe's Wallrun, Mio's Gravity Shift) to reach a door. Zoe destroys another panel, revealing cables for Mio to destroy, opening the door.

Gear and Gears Puzzle: Mio destroys glass and uses Gravity Shift to reach panels, opening a cylinder. Zoe uses her whip to grab a container before it hits gears and throws it into the open cylinder, stopping the gears. Mio crosses safely and uses their whip to open a door. Mio uses Gravity Switch to leap to the ceiling, then proceeds through a corridor, destroying glass to the left.

Container Pit Puzzle: Mio hits connecting struts below large containers in order to allow Zoe to cross a pit. They repeat this process until Zoe has traversed the pit.

Ventilation Shaft: Zoe destroys a vent cover. Both characters enter the vent and follow it. Mio uses Gravity Shift to return to Zoe's surface. Zoe uses her whip on a bar, exposing a pink node for Mio to destroy. This process must be completed twice (turning the bar left and right) to open the door.

Sky Traffic Traversal: Players jump from vehicle to vehicle, using traversal abilities like wall running, grappling, and Gravity Shift. They encounter a truck with a pink node on top. Zoe stands on a box while Mio attacks the node, sending Zoe to the next truck.

Further Sky Traffic Puzzles: Zoe throws crates at glass covering Gravity Shift panels. Mio uses Gravity Shift to reach the truck's front. Zoe grabs an arm on the truck and drags it back for Mio to attach to. Mio swings to the next truck. Zoe moves the arm back, allowing Mio to swing. Mio takes control of a truck to allow Zoe to progress. Zoe then jumps to a ladder on the back of the truck and moves forward to the next truck, with Mio ensuring alignment. Mio disengages from truck controls and rejoins Zoe, using a Gravity Switch panel to return to the same platform.

Cylindrical Truck Hatch: Both characters progress to a cylindrical truck with a green latch. Zoe interacts with the latch to open it, revealing a ramp for both characters to enter. They must avoid green hazards on the floor by jumping from platform to platform.
