How to Beat Archivist Prime (Chapter 2)

Defeat the Archivist Prime in Split Fiction Chapter 2. Learn its phases, abilities like Aether Beam, Runic Slam, and how to handle Archival Drones.

The Archivist Prime is the guardian of the Lost Chronicle in the Aetherium Archives, a challenging construct boss.

Phases & Abilities:

1. Phase 1 (100%-60% Health): The Prime uses 'Aether Beam' (a channeled laser, dodge sideways) and 'Runic Slam' (AoE around itself, creates temporary 'Rune Traps' that deal energy damage). It will also summon 'Archival Drones' that fire slow-moving projectiles.
2. Phase 2 (60%-30% Health): The Prime gains 'Temporal Distortion', periodically slowing your movement and attack speed. It also introduces 'Reality Echoes', creating two illusory copies of itself that deal reduced damage but can be confusing. The real Prime has a slightly brighter glow.
3. Phase 3 (30%-0% Health): The Prime overloads, gaining 'Aetheric Overcharge', significantly increasing its damage output and attack speed. It will frequently use 'Aetheric Pulse', a large AoE blast that requires precise timing to dodge.

Weaknesses:

• Damage Type: Void and Physical damage are highly effective.
• Strategy: Prioritize destroying Archival Drones. Use Reality Shift to bypass Rune Traps or escape Temporal Distortion. Focus on the real Archivist Prime during Phase 2. During Phase 3, play defensively, only attacking during openings. Chronomancers can cleanse Temporal Distortion, Reality Weavers can quickly burst down Drones, and Void Breakers can absorb much of the damage.
