Collecting these items isn't just for completionists; many unlock crucial story details, powerful abilities, or simply make your journey against the Slitterhead menace a little less terrifying. Be diligent, be observant, and most importantly, be prepared for anything!

Memory Fragments

Memory Fragments are glowing, ethereal shards that piece together the tragic history of the city and the origins of the Slitterhead. Collecting all of them unlocks a secret ending and provides invaluable lore insights.

• Fragment 1: "The First Breach"
  • Location: Old Market District, inside the abandoned Butcher Shop.
  • Strategy: Enter the Butcher Shop through the back alley entrance. Navigate past the hanging carcasses. The fragment is on a blood-stained counter in the main display area. Be wary of a lurking "Flesh Weaver" Slitterhead patrolling this zone.
• Fragment 2: "Whispers of the Architect"
  • Location: Rooftops of the Neon Tower, accessible via the maintenance elevator on the 3rd floor.
  • Strategy: After taking the elevator, follow the narrow catwalks. The fragment is perched on a broken antenna overlooking the city. You'll need to perform a precise jump to reach it.
• Fragment 3: "The Sacrifice of the Twins"
  • Location: Underground Sewers, near the collapsed pipe junction.
  • Strategy: Access the sewers from the grate behind the "Lucky Cat" arcade. Follow the main pipe until you reach a flooded section. The fragment is submerged; you'll need the "Hydro-Scanner" utility to pinpoint its exact location and then dive to retrieve it.
• Fragment 4: "The City's Heartbeat"
  • Location: Inside the Mayor's abandoned penthouse, accessible only after completing the "Echoes of Power" main quest.
  • Strategy: Once inside the penthouse, locate the hidden study behind the large bookshelf (interact with the antique globe to reveal the entrance). The fragment is on the Mayor's desk, next to a half-eaten meal.

Weapon Schematics

These blueprints allow you to craft powerful new weapons or upgrade existing ones at any Fabrication Station. Each schematic requires specific materials, so keep an eye out for salvage!

  • Location: Industrial Zone, inside the derelict "Ironworks" factory, in the supervisor's office.
  • Strategy: The office is locked. You'll need to find the "Ironworks Keycard", which is held by a "Stalker" Slitterhead patrolling the factory floor. Defeat it to claim the key, then access the office.
• Schematic: "Sonic Disruptor"
  • Location: Research & Development Labs, Sub-level 3, within the sealed containment unit.
  • Strategy: To open the containment unit, you must solve the "Bio-Signature Puzzle" on the adjacent console. The solution involves matching the correct DNA sequences, which are hinted at by scattered lab notes throughout Sub-level 2.

Hidden Emblems

These small, ornate emblems are purely for bragging rights and a hidden achievement. There are 10 in total, each uniquely designed.

• Emblem of the Serpent
  • Location: Behind the "Crimson Dragon" noodle bar sign, accessible by scaling the fire escape.
  • Strategy: Look for a loose panel on the back of the sign. Interact with it to reveal the emblem.
• Emblem of the Eye
  • Location: Inside the clock tower in the Central Plaza, at the very top.
  • Strategy: This requires significant platforming skill. Navigate the internal gears and ladders. The emblem is nestled within the clockwork mechanism itself.

Utility Upgrades

These upgrades enhance your existing tools and abilities, making traversal, combat, and puzzle-solving much easier.

• Upgrade: "Grapple Hook Extender"
  • Location: Abandoned Construction Site, in the foreman's temporary office trailer.
  • Strategy: The trailer is elevated. Use your standard grapple hook to reach the scaffolding, then carefully cross to the trailer's entrance.
• Upgrade: "Bio-Scan Amplifier"
  • Location: Medical District, within the quarantined "St. Jude's Hospital," in the defunct MRI room.
  • Strategy: The MRI room is powered down. Restore power by locating and activating the emergency generator in the hospital's basement. Be prepared for "Crawler" Slitterheads in the dark corridors.
