Master the combat fundamentals of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, including melee, Ninjutsu, tools, and stealth tactics.

Combat in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is fast-paced, tactical, and unforgiving. Understanding the core mechanics will significantly improve your chances of survival. You'll primarily rely on a combination of melee attacks, ranged Ninjutsu, and stealth takedowns.

Melee Combat:

• Light Attack (Square/Left Click): Quick, low-damage attacks. Can be chained into combos.
• Heavy Attack (Triangle/Right Click): Slower, high-damage attacks that can break enemy guards. Charge for even more damage.
• Guard (L2/Right Mouse Button): Blocks incoming attacks, reducing damage. Perfect timing can result in a 'Perfect Guard', staggering the enemy.
• Parry (L1 + Square/Q + Left Click): A risky but rewarding maneuver. If timed correctly against an enemy attack, it will stun them, opening them up for a critical counter-attack.

Ninjutsu & Tools:

• Ninjutsu (R1 + Face Buttons/Number Keys): Unleash powerful elemental attacks or support spells. Requires Chakra.
• Tools (D-Pad/F1-F4): Utilize throwable shurikens, smoke bombs, kunai, and other utility items.

Stealth:

Stealth is a Shinobi's greatest asset. Approach enemies from behind or above for instant 'Stealth Takedowns', eliminating them silently. Use environmental cover and your 'Chakra Sense' (R3/Middle Mouse Button) to detect enemy positions and patrol routes. Remaining undetected allows you to thin out enemy ranks before engaging in open combat.
