Unlock the full potential of your Nahobino! Our SMT V Miracles guide covers the best applications for Supremacy, Doctrine, Awakening, and Cosmos, helping you conquer Da'at.
Alright, let's talk about Miracles in Shin Megami Tensei V. Think of these as special buffs and abilities you can learn that go beyond your regular demon skills. They're super important for making your Nahobino and the whole party stronger, and you'll need them to face the tough enemies in Da'at. ### How to Get Miracles You get Miracles by collecting Glory, which you can find scattered all over Da'at. Once you have enough Glory, you'll head over to Sophia in the Cathedral of Shadows to learn them. Most Miracles become available for purchase after you've taken down specific Abscesses. ### The Four Types of Miracles Miracles are split into four main categories, each affecting different aspects of the game: * Supremacy (Hadou): These mainly impact battles and how you handle demon negotiations. If you want to get an edge in combat or make it easier to recruit demons, look here. * Doctrine (Fukuin): These affect things outside of direct combat, like fusion, buying items in the World of Shadows and Cadaver's Hollow, and other external factors. * Awakening (Kakusei): This category is all about improving your stats, how your demons grow, and even increasing the number of demons you can hold in your stock. * Cosmos (Banshou): These focus on your protagonist's skill potentials, which can really change how effective certain skills are. ### New Game Plus and Miracles If you decide to start a New Game Plus, things get a little different. If you choose Reborn mode, only the Miracles *you* learned will carry over. Any you haven't bought yet will need to be unlocked again by defeating Abscesses. Newborn mode is a bit more forgiving, only carrying over the Demon Proficiency Miracles you've already learned, and you won't need to buy them again. Also, starting a New Game+ automatically gives you Divine Persuasion and Divine Eminence right away. Pretty neat! ### Version Differences: SMT V vs. Vengeance Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance adds some new Miracles and tweaks others. Some Miracles can even be turned on or off from the Status Menu if they get in your way – just look for the ones marked with "(Togglable)". In V: Vengeance, the Miracles Rank Violation and Inheritance Violation unlock when you reach a certain point in the new story path. Which one you get depends on your alignment. If you leaned towards Law, you'll get Rank Violation after taking Tao Isonokami's hand. If you leaned towards Chaos, you'll get Inheritance Violation after taking Yoko Hiromine's hand. If you're Neutral, you'll have to choose, and that choice will lock in your alignment. There's also a super tough superboss in the _Canon of Vengeance_ named Primal Satan. After you defeat him and complete the subquest "The Great Adversary", you'll unlock a Miracle called Moral Transcendence. This is the most expensive Miracle in the game, costing a whopping 999 Glory, but it raises your level cap to 150! Definitely a late-game goal if you want to max out your characters. ### Table of Miracles This section is still a work in progress, as we need more info on the exact recovery amounts for some Miracles like Invigorating Defense, Magatsuhi Wellspring, and Old World's Blessing. We also need to figure out the exact level cap for Prayer miracles. Keep an eye out for updates! * Supremacy * Doctrine * Awakening * Cosmos100% Human-Written. AI Fact-Checked. Community Verified.
