This is where things really kick off, and you'll be making your way through Mexico with Jonah. First up, you'll be exploring a tricky cavern. Lara gets a bit stuck, but don't worry, you'll find a way out. Keep an eye on your radio; Jonah will let you know when Dr. Pedro Dominguez is showing up. He seems like just another Trinity guy at first, but it turns out he's a pretty big deal in their High Council. After that, you'll find a site Trinity has already been poking around. Make sure to take pictures for later – it's good practice! While you're checking out the stonework, especially a damaged monolith, be careful! Lara accidentally triggers some explosives Trinity left behind, causing the temple to start collapsing. Just get out of there quickly. Next, you and Jonah head to Cozumel for the Day of the Dead festival. Lara figures out the clues are pointing towards Peru. Back in town, you'll run into Dominguez again, this time with Commander Rourke, who's in charge of Trinity's military. They're looking for a temple, and you'll want to follow them. Lara tails them through the town and into the jungle. You'll find another entrance leading to a chamber with a mural showing some pretty intense cataclysms – tsunamis, storms, earthquakes, the works. Inside, Lara finds a ceremonial dagger. This is what Trinity is after. Jonah will probably urge you to be cautious, and honestly, he's usually right. But Lara impulsively grabs the dagger. Big mistake. A tremor hits, and part of the mural breaks. Lara realizes she's messed up and radios Jonah to get to higher ground. As Lara heads out, she has to fight off some Trinity soldiers. She even drops the dagger at one point! Dominguez shows up and tells his men to back off. He asks for a certain box, but Lara brushes him off. That's when Dominguez reveals that by taking the dagger, Lara has basically set the apocalypse in motion. He snatches the dagger, planning to 'fix' things his way. Lara sees the first cataclysm, a tsunami, heading her way and barely makes it to higher ground. She finds Jonah, but he's furious. He tells Lara they need to help the people trapped by the disaster before chasing after Dominguez. Lara is left looking pretty horrified at the destruction she's caused. After getting a plane, you and Jonah head to Peru. But wouldn't you know it, the second cataclysm, a storm, hits as you get close. The plane rips apart, separating you and Jonah, and both pieces crash. Lara wakes up in the dense jungle. You'll need to find some gear from the wreckage. Keep an ear out for the pilot, Miguel, who also survived and headed deeper into the jungle. Lara finds Miguel...
