The Temple Grounds is a new area filled with buildings and enemies. While not all structures are accessible, there are many paths to explore and items to find.

Walkthrough:

  1. Head down the path and kill the four dogs at the base of the building.
  2. Go left around the building to find a lake. Jump in and kill the two fish for Treasure Carp Scale x2.
  3. Grapple up using the two branches on the side of the building to reach a rooftop.
  4. Find a Fistful of Ash item on the roof.
  5. Stealth-kill the monk to the left, then the one around the corner.
  6. Jump up to a rock and then to the temple area.
  7. On this side, find Ceramic Shard x2 by some bodies.
  8. Head back and kill the well-dressed monk on the right, then the one on the left.
  9. Drop down and kill the monk below, then the next one on the right.
  10. Continue to the stairs and kill the dogs to the left.
  11. Grab the Gokan's Sugar.
  12. Turn around and go down the path, watching for a monkey in the trees and an item (Pellet) in the path, and another monkey behind a rock.
  13. Continue downwards, fighting monkeys with shurikens.
  14. Sneak past the Giant and collect items by the graves, on the bridge, by a tree, and on the way to the bridge: Mibu Balloon of Spirit x3, Persimmon, and Heavy Coin Purse.
  15. Head back up to the top, past the lake, sticking to the right.
  16. Before the stairs, hop down to the land on the right to find a Mibu Possession Balloon.
  17. Head back up and go up the stairs, then grapple to the roof.
  18. Go left around the roof to find a poison monk and kill him.
  19. Continue to the next roof and kill the walking monk.
  20. Go to the first roof and kill the two monks walking along the front.
  21. Drop down into the courtyard and find a Light Coin Purse on the right.
  22. Enter the building and use Bloodmist Ninjutsu to stealth-kill the monks. Sneak in, stab the far left monk, use Blood Mist, sneak to the right monk and backstab him, use Blood Mist again to kill the third monk from stealth. This costs Spirit Emblems.
  23. Leave the room and draw out the last monk to kill him.
