Chapter 5: Clearing One\'s Name

After the cutscenes, you'll be flying a chopper. Use the Left Stick to steer and the Right Stick to aim. Press LT (Xbox 360) or L1 (Playstation 3) to ready your weapon and Rt (Xbox 360) or R1 (Playstation 3) to fire. Missiles are mapped to A (Xbox 360) or R (Playstation 3). Protect Leon and Helena below while aiming for the first Serpent Emblem (item 1699).

Save missiles for now; your guns are sufficient for zombies. After Leon and Helena are safe, you'll head down the streets. More helicopters will appear; shoot them down while avoiding fire. After the first two, two will attack at once. Use a missile to help and beware of RPG attacks.

After defeating the helicopters, you'll see a scene. Find the second Serpent Emblem (item 1700) nearby.

Use the edges of buildings for cover from chopper missiles. Keep moving to avoid machine gun fire. Swing up from cover and spray the chopper with your machine guns. You can destroy it with these tactics or use missiles.

After destroying the chopper, proceed to the tower. You will fight Derek Simmons, Form Two, with Leon and Helena. Keep moving constantly to avoid his jumping tail lash. When he picks up a car, use the obelisk for cover. His weak point is his back; destroy the plates there to injure him. Continue firing, even when he's in human form, until you defeat him.

After the scenes, you'll help survivors. Kill zombies and protect them. Then, look for the third Serpent Emblem (item 1701).

Destroy the dynamite stick zombie to make the lightning spire fall. Proceed to help survivors until you encounter BSAA zombies and a Whopper. Defeat them, using any remaining missiles.

Gather any items. Instead of heading to the objective, go down the nearby stairs to find 9 Wooden Crates, 2 Wooden Boxes, and a case with a First Aid Spray and Arrows (Pipe Bomb).

Head to the objective and zip up to the crane to find the Final Serpent Emblem (item 1702). If you've followed the guide, you should have all emblems and the corresponding trophy/achievement.

Continue onwards and drop down. Grab the Green Herb and enter the door for a scene.

In the final part of the Simmons' battle, endure on top of the elevator. On the walkway, use pipebomb arrows against Simmons. Dodge his brutal charge and his claw attacks.

After the walkway collapses, Ada will shoot off to the final walkway. Take care of any zombies and use your sniper rifle to cover Leon and Helena as they climb to safety.

With Leon, lay into Simmons on the walkway. When he becomes human, pummel him. Run over to him when he's by the ledge to defeat him.

Watch the final scenes. Interact with the console and watch any optional scenes. Continue into the room and watch the final scenes to complete Ada Wong's campaign.
