Catch the Guardian of the Pond and defeat the Beast, Wings, and Tomb of Human Sacrifice bosses in persona 5. Requires Null Rage accessory or skills.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On December 6th (Night), after returning from the Palace, get a massage from Kawakami, save your game, and go to Ichigaya for fishing.
  2. 2
Fish six times with normal bait, then use the Top-Class Boilie on the seventh cast.
  3. 3
The Guardian is a long, gold fish visible with Third Eye. All fish will go after the Top-Class Boilie.
  4. 4
To make reeling easier, try to lure the Guardian closer by recasting your line once it approaches the bait.
  5. 5
Hooking the Guardian when it's closer means less distance to reel in, increasing the chance of netting it by holding X.
  6. 6
If you don't catch it tonight, you will have free time in the coming days. You can also save up points to get the strongest rod.
  7. 7
Upon reeling in the Guardian, you will receive its trophy.
  8. 8
On December 7th, prepare to send a calling card. Equip the MC with a Null Rage accessory, or a Persona with the Null Rage skill (Belphegor at level 38, Daisoujou at level 47, Byakko at level 54).
  9. 9
Purchase items from Takemi, specifically Relax Gels, Nohar-Ms, and heal-all items.
  10. 10
Meet with the others at the hideout, send the calling card, and prepare for the boss fight.

BOSS - Beast of Human Sacrifice

This is the first form of the boss and is the hardest of the three. You cannot use physical or gun skills; stick to magic skills. Ann at level 62 has Concentrate for high damage. The Beast uses two actions per turn and has Dekaja, which removes party buffs, so use party-wide buffs sparingly due to SP cost. It also uses Masukunda, which can be countered with Masukukaja to maintain accuracy/evasion. Keep the Beast’s attack debuffed with Tarunda, as it can use Tarukaja to boost its attack. Its regular attack deals 130-140 damage, Beast King’s Wrath hits all for around 180, and Arm of Destruction is its ultimate move, which can be mitigated by guarding when it charges. The Beast uses Makarakarn to block magic vulnerability. Be extremely careful of Wage War, which inflicts rage; party members will attack the boss and likely die in one hit due to its repulsion of physical attacks. Makoto’s Mediarama should suffice for healing, but you may need to assist.

BOSS - Wings of Human Sacrifice

This form appears when the boss grows wings and is easier than the previous form, as rage is not inflicted. It resists all magic skills, so use physical/gun attacks. It still attacks twice per round. It cycles through single-target -dyne spells: Agidyne, Bufudyne, Ziodyne, Garudyne, Psiodyne, Freidyne, Kougaon, and Eigaon. After this cycle, it uses its ultimate attack, Royal Wing Beam, which deals heavy damage and can inflict Dizzy. It then restarts the cycle. If you consistently strike with your best physical skills and avoid hitting weaknesses, you may not see its ultimate attack.

BOSS - Tomb of Human Sacrifice

This is the final form, reached at one-third health. It has no resistances, so you can use any attacks. It attacks only once per round, allowing more time for buffs and healing. Its single attack, Cannon Fire, targets only one character.

  • Use magic skills against the Beast of Human Sacrifice, and physical/gun attacks against the Wings of Human Sacrifice.
  • Guard against the Beast of Human Sacrifice's Arm of Destruction and Royal Wing Beam attacks.
  • Keep the Beast of Human Sacrifice's attack debuffed with Tarunda.
