Spirit Shards are equippable upgrades found across the map. Some can be purchased from Twillen, or received as rewards for completing certain side quests. Once found or purchased, some Spirit Shards can be upgraded to higher levels, providing more benefits. There are a total of 31 Spirit Shards for players to collect, and it requires approximately 13000 Spirit Light to upgrade all upgradeable Spirit Shards.
Inkwater Marsh

| Reckless | Increase damage dealt and taken by (15/25/35)%. | After you defeat Howl, go west and you will find an opening before the Spirit Tree. |
| Life Pact | Spend Life to cast spells when out of Energy. | Found in the path from Luma Pools to Midnight Burrows, once you reach the sand area, defeat the enemies and the gate leading to the Shard will open. |
| Magnet | Orbs float to Ori from further away. | From the Spirit Tree that gives Ori the Spirit Edge, head upwards and go to the right corner of the screen. |
| Resilience | Take (15/20/25/30)% less damage. | From the Spirit Well in the west, go east and drop down, then head west and cling on the blue moss to cross the waters. |
| Sticky | Stick and climb on walls. | Above the Spirit Tree that give you the Double Jump ability. |
Kwolok's Hollow

| Splinter | Spirit Arc shots split into (3/4/5) short-range shots, dealing 50% damage each. | Near the entrance to Mouldwood Depths, go east on the spider statue and you will find in the right corner. |
| Quickshot | Attack more rapidly with the Spiric Arc. | From the Spirit Well head west and go downwards until you reach the waters then head west, shoot the glowing stone with an arrow and dash pass the traps. |
Wellspring Glades
