    Find Isaias Sandoval, an associate of William Taggart, hiding in the sewers.

    At Sarif HQ, meet David in the penthouse for a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) and 250XP.

    Optionally, hack PCs in Sarif Industries for experience and lore, read your email, and talk to Athene near the helipad.

    Return to Malik to continue the mission and receive 250XP.

    You are sent back to Hengsha to investigate the location of Vasili Sevchenko's GPL device.

    Primary objectives are to escape the construction site (1000XP, +500XP for Ghost) and find Sevchenko's GPL device (1000XP).

    You will find yourself on a roof and must decide whether to save Malik.

    Saving Malik's Life: This action nets the "Good Soul" trophy/achievement. Save your game before proceeding. You will need a Sniper Rifle, a short-range weapon (Revolver, Machine Pistol, or 10mm Pistol), a Gas Grenade or two, and an EMP Grenade. This strategy requires killing enemies.

    Saving Malik Strategy:

    Pull out your sniper rifle and shoot the explosive barrel on the second level of the far building to kill an enemy.

    Jump off the roof, run right towards the red container with a ramp, and climb the building. Kill the enemy straight ahead.

    Use a grenade to take out the Ogre below and other guards to the right.

    When a Box Guard appears, immediately use an EMP Grenade or your Typhoon augmentation (twice) to destroy it.

    Dispatch the remaining enemies on the ground level with a short-range weapon. Heal with Hypostims or Painkillers if needed.

    Take out the sniper on top of the building you climbed.

    Once all enemies are dead, Malik will be saved.

    • [2x CYBERBOOST PROENERGY BARS] in the northwest building.
    • [35x HEAVY RIFLE AMMO] on crates near the southwest building, ground level.
    • [EMP GRENADE] and [FRAG GRENADE] behind the pipe, beyond the electrified pool of water (PATHFINDER 300XP).
    • [10x SNIPER RIFLE AMMO] at the two sniper positions.
  • Ride the elevator up and enter Hengsha again.
  • Head to the LIMB clinic to get a new biochip, avoiding hostile Belltower guards.
  • If a random NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) near the Hung Hua Hotel threatens to report you, intimidate them.
  • At the LIMB clinic, buy the two Praxis Kits.
  • WARNING: Do *NOT* get the Biochip installed at the LIMB Clinic.
  • You can talk to Doctor Wing at the LIM... (source text cuts off).
    • Tips
    • Saving Malik is recommended for the "Good Soul" trophy/achievement.
    • If aiming for the Pacifist trophy/achievement, load your save after getting "Good Soul" and exit the area, or use cloak with Gas Grenades and takedowns, which requires energy bars.
    • Running with cloak is also useful for the "Ghost" trophy/achievement.
    • Be prepared to use EMP Grenades or Typhoon augmentation against the Box Guard.
    • Heal with Hypostims or Painkillers if necessary during combat.
