Start by following the path right into the forest. Deflect shuriken from Red Ninjas to complete the 'Deflect 10 enemy projectiles' challenge.

Continue right, climb the wall, and use platforms to reach higher areas. Use fireballs to cross to a platform containing the first Golden Scarab. Drop down using the specified buttons to collect it.

Proceed right, encountering Fuma Shields. Be cautious of their returning fuma shuriken. Defeat elite enemies with blue auras.

Continue right and drop down to the bottom. Defeat a Ronin and another Fuma Shield. Proceed to the next screen to find Shrine #2.

At Shrine #2, meet Muramasa, the merchant. Purchase a talisman using Golden Scarabs (e.g., Blood Frenzy).

Continue into the cave, carefully crossing spike traps and defeating Skulls. Before a Flame Thrower, destroy a fake wall on the bottom right to access the 'secret room' challenge.

Navigate the secret room using fireballs to avoid spikes and collect the Scroll.

Return outside and climb upwards, using fireballs to ascend. Near the top, use Guillotine Boost on fireballs to reach the next shrine and a Golden Scarab.

Continue left, defeating Jet Ninjas and Red Ninjas. Defeat an elite Red Ninja guarding the second Crystal Skull.

Ascend and enter a cave to find Shrine #5.

At Shrine #5, defeat a Ronin. Gurthka will burn the bridge. Run right, jump over a Ronin, and hang off the ledge below to collect the last Crystal Skull.

Proceed right to safety. Cross the next pit area by bouncing off Jet Ninjas. Use an elite Jet Ninja to defeat a Fuma Shield.

Enter a tunnel with spikes. Bounce off a fireball to grab the ceiling and proceed right to Shrine #6.

At Shrine #6, climb the shaft. Defeat a Fuma Shield using a Red Ninja's blue aura.

Head right, defeat a Jet Ninja with a blue aura to kill a Fuma Shield. A turret will appear; destroy it before climbing the wall. Defeat a Drone.

Avoid a land mine. Continue to trigger a scene with a CIA Agent.

Enter the cave behind the agent for Shrine #7.

At Shrine #7, approach the gate for the boss fight against Gurthka.

BOSS FIGHT: GURTHKA: Gurthka has 4 main attacks: a ground slam creating fireballs, a flying claw swipe with fireballs, a wide fire breath, and a ground slam creating fire pillars. He also summons a blue aura skull for free damage. The arena now has fire in the center, limiting movement. Stay on one side and wait for him to approach. Dodge his attacks and counter.
