Part 8

Outer Sanctum: Make your way past Muramasa's Shop. Eliminate the ninjas using walls for evasion. Open a chest and proceed through the large doorway.

Inner Sanctum Hallway: Defeat the ninjas using downward strikes and Ultimates. Open a chest and continue. Do not wall-run across the open floorway yet. Wait for ninjas to jump towards you, then use a pre-charged On-Land Charge. Wall-run across the floorway and go around the corner.

Sanctum Shrine: Eliminate the ninjas in the small room. Open the chest to find the Art Of The Inferno Scroll.

Crystal Skull #1: Before jumping down, look across the ledge to an adjacent roof. Jump over to grab the Crystal Skull. Then, jump down to the lower area.

Lower Sanctum: Use the Inferno Ninpo to gain Achievement Points. Defeat the remaining enemies. Enter the next area and open chests. Go up the stairs. A new enemy, the Phantom Warlock, will appear. This enemy can create exploding fire pits and fling fireballs. He also has a close-range teleport attack.

Phantom Warlock Strategy: Immediately approach and eliminate the Phantom Warlock first, as he can be a significant distraction. After defeating him, clear the rest of the enemies.

Item: Lives of the Thousand Gods: After defeating the Phantom Warlock and other enemies, open the nearby chest to find your first health enhancement.

Engine Room: As you enter, defend against rushing enemies. Use a wall-run to the next catwalk. Go up the stairs and use pre-charged On-Land Charges on approaching enemies. One Ultimate should kill them.

Objective: Master the Obliteration Technique: Approach the dead body to retrieve the Obliteration Technique Scroll. Use this technique on the subsequent group of ninjas missing arms.

Flying Bird Technique: Grab the Flying Bird Technique Scroll from another dead body. Use this technique to reach the top of the chasm to the next area.

Cherry Blossom Garden: Eliminate the Warlocks first, then use their Essence for Ultimates.

Item: Life of the Gods: After clearing the area, jump down to the river and turn right towards the waterfall. Eliminate the ninjas there. Go to the balcony ledge near the waterfall to find a chest with a Life of the Gods.

Further Exploration: Return to the mini-bridge and continue past it, eliminating more enemies. Proceed past the garden to a downward stairway. Before the next area, jump down to the water and go to the end of the moat to find a chest with goodies.

Cherry Blossom Stairway: Deal with the archers by blocking their fire arrows while prioritizing enemies in front of you.

Crystal Skull #2: Move next to the cherry blossom tree and use a Bird Flip to reach a small roof ledge. Run up to the archers and take them down. Grab the Crystal Skull from the ledge. Jump down.

Item: Life of the Gods: Make your way down the catwalks and jump to the lower catwalks. Go to the end to find a chest with a Life of the Gods.

Ambush: Enemies will ambush you as soon as you grab the item. Eliminate them with Ultimates.

Progression: Climb the ladder back to the top catwalk. Eliminate more ninjas. Jump and swing across gaps to the other side. Go to the end to find a SAVE STATUE.

Rooftop Balcony: Take the ladder to the top and turn right to find a chest.

Objective: Master the Flying Swallow Technique & Obtain the Lunar Weapon: Continue to progress towards these objectives.
