Complete Part 37 walkthrough for Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, including strategies for Centaurs, big fish, Genshin, and Elizebet.

Before proceeding, stock up on health items at Muramasa's Statue.

Walkthrough

    Exit to the next doorway to enter the River of Blood - First Area.

    A gang of Centaurs will ambush you. Stay near the doorway and wait for them to approach. Block their attacks, then hit their backs with a hard combo to stun them. Continue attacking while they are stunned; 2-3 combos should defeat them. Use leftover Essence for Ultimate attacks.

    Eliminate all Centaurs to clear the area.

    Take the opposite doorway to find a Save Statue (a place to save your progress).

    If needed, return to Muramasa's Statue for supplies.

    Open the next doorway past the Save Statue to enter the River of Blood - Second Area.

    Use the Water Run ability to cross the river. Big red fish will appear.

    You can either dodge the fish or shoot them with the Gatling Gun. There are about 10-12 fish. Killing them all is recommended.

    After eliminating the fish, approach the stairway on the other side.

    Go left and right of the large doorway to find items.

    It is recommended to return to Muramasa's Statue to stock up and then use the Save Statue.

    Enter the large doorway to encounter Genshin for the final time.

BOSS BATTLE: GENSHIN - PART FOUR

Genshin is more agile than in previous encounters and can evade and counter your attacks. His new attacks are flame-based but are easy to evade. Evade his hard combos and block his attacks. Stay evasive, then attack with a hard combo. Evade again after the combo and repeat.

Immediately after this battle, you will face another boss.

BOSS BATTLE: ELIZEBET - PART TWO

This battle is similar to the previous encounter with Elizebet, but she has more endurance. Stay close to her, bait her into fighting one-on-one, and block and evade her combos. Counter with Blade of the Archfiend combos.

ELIZEBET GLITCH NOTE: If Elizebet catches Ryu with her Blood Swirl attack, the game may freeze. Ryu will be stuck, and Elizebet will disappear. If this happens, you must reload the level and fight Genshin again.

After defeating Elizebet, pick up the HEART OF CRIMSON BLOOD item from the floor. Use the portal to the next area.

AREA: GATEWAY OF JUDGEMENT

Open the chest behind Ryu for an item. Stock up at the Muramasa Statue. Approach the Save Statue and save your game. There is no turning back after entering the next door.

Enter the large black doorway.

As you enter the pathway, you will encounter Van Gelf enemies. Eliminate them with your new weapon. Approach the door at the end to trigger a tough boss battle.

Tips
  • When fighting Centaurs, focus on hitting their backs after they attack to stun them.
  • Killing the big red fish in the River of Blood is a better option than trying to dodge them.
  • The Blade of the Archfiend is effective against the Van Gelf enemies.
  • Be prepared for a boss battle immediately after defeating Genshin.
  • If Elizebet's Blood Swirl attack freezes the game, you will need to restart the level from the last save point.
