Unlockables:

  • Red Blood Costume: Unlocked by completing Way Of The Warrior difficulty.

Crystal Skull Locations:

There are THIRTY Crystal Skulls to collect throughout the game up to Chapter 11. If you do not have 30 skulls by Chapter 12, you will need to revisit earlier areas.

  1. Chapter 1: Adjacent rooftop from where you find the ART OF THE INFERNO scroll.
  2. Chapter 1: On the balcony where you encountered archers. Use a Bird Flip from the cherry blossom tree area to reach a small ledge, then approach the balcony.
  3. Chapter 2: At the bottom of the river where you used the Water Run.
  4. Chapter 2: On a shelf between the rooms where you find the ULTRAMARINE and VERMILION JEWELS.
  5. Chapter 3: On top of the stairs in the area where you find the ART OF THE WIND BLADES scroll.
  6. Chapter 3: Across from the dead body with the TECHNIQUE OF SHADOWLESS FOOTSTEPS scroll. Use a double Wall Run to reach it.
  7. Chapter 4: In a back alley after exiting the subway. Use a Wall Run from the left side of the wall to reach a metal ledge.
  8. Chapter 4: On the ledge near the ladder going towards the upper bridge.
  9. Chapter 4: On the first floor of the Statue of Liberty stairway (with the broken elevator). Use a Wall Run to reach the metal beams across from the Save Statue.
  10. Chapter 5: On a gondola across the river from where you found the Kusari-gama. Take the stairs to the river and run across the water.
  11. Chapter 5: On the table at the restaurant area after the first Save Statue.
  12. Chapter 5: After encountering exploding jellyfish, swim past a guarded water alley to find the skull underwater.
  13. Chapter 6: Under some wreckage across from Muramasa's Statue at the beginning of the chapter. Go around the wreckage and jump down.
  14. Chapter 6: After exiting the caverns to the castle, attack the guillotine across from the Save Statue to reveal the skull.
  15. Chapter 6: Inside the castle library. Attack the shelf on the upper left to reveal the skull.
  16. Chapter 7: Next to the control panel of the Daedalus cockpit.
  17. Chapter 7: Outside the room where you found the Tonfas, under some fallen wreckage.
  18. Chapter 8: In the corner of the alley where you encounter landmines.
  19. Chapter 8: After finding the Bell Key and opening the door, next to some candles as you go down the stairway.
  20. Chapter 8: Across the bar inside the train.
  21. Chapter 8: On one of the large clock gears just before the Zedonius battle.
  22. Chapter 9: In the river stronghold, tied to a piece of rope on the watchtower to the right side.
  23. Chapter 9: Near the Save Statue before fighting the worm. Use the zipline and swing to the branches to find the skull next to a hidden Muramasa's Statue.
  24. Chapter 9: After the worm boss battle, on the other side of the water with acid worms, in the corner.
  25. Chapter 9: After the cutscene with floating dead ninja bodies, dive into the river and look for the dead body holding the skull.
  26. Chapter 10: On top of the walls used for Wall Running to get to the next acid river, after defeating the first batch of acid worms.
  27. Chapter 10: Go all the way down the stairs and around the corner of the stairs where you encounter mini-dragons to find the skull in the ground.
  28. Chapter 11: In the alleyway at the Hayabusa Village entrance. Enter the alley, find a dead body, and enter the enclosure next to it to find the skull.
  29. Chapter 11: After emerging to the grassy field, cut open the little wooden shack to reveal the skull.
  30. Chapter 11: In a small enclosure in the Valley Shadows at the bottom of the Ninja Fortress. This is the same area where Ryu found his first Ninpo scroll in the first Ninja Gaiden game.
