Master NHL 24 Franchise Mode! Learn how to earn and spend attribute points, customize players, and conquer all 50 NHL teams to win the Midway Cup.
Walkthrough
- 1Start a Franchise: Create a new team, which can include up to nine franchises at a time.
- 2Team Roster: Each new team starts with six skaters and one goalie, all with a rating of five in six attribute categories. You begin with 60 attribute points to customize your players.
- 3Player Customization: You can add or subtract attribute points from any player's categories, with ratings ranging from a minimum of one to a maximum of 20. Custom players can be given names (up to ten characters) and have their body attributes (physical appearance) and skill attributes (playing abilities) adjusted.
- 4Trading Players: Use attribute points to trade custom players for NHL players. Note that NHL players come at a high cost due to their high skill ratings, and their skill attribute ratings cannot be edited. Trading a custom player for an NHL player makes the custom player permanently unavailable.
- 5Earning Attribute Points:
- 6Game Wins: Earn six attribute points for each win in Franchise Mode.
- 7Trivia: Earn attribute points based on difficulty for correctly answering trivia questions: Easy (1 point), Medium (2 points), Hard (3 points).
- 8Winning the Midway Cup: Beat all 50 NHL teams to win the Midway Cup. This rewards you with 5000 credits to spend in the Hockey Shop.
Tips
