Mickey starts with a foundational set of abilities that form the basis of all builds. These include his basic pistol proficiency, a dodge roll, and the ability to interact with objects. As you progress, you'll gain 'Insight Points' from completing missions and finding collectibles. These points are spent in the skill tree. His core abilities can be enhanced: for example, 'Enhanced Dodge' reduces cooldown and increases distance, while 'Steady Aim' improves accuracy and reduces recoil. Understanding these core enhancements is crucial before specializing. Mickey also has a unique 'Detective Vision' ability (activated with 'V' or 'Right Stick Click') that highlights clues, enemy weaknesses, and interactive objects in the environment. Upgrading this ability can reveal more information or extend its duration, making investigations much easier.
