Major Jackson Briggs, a decorated U.S. Special Forces officer, is a formidable close-combat warrior. His primary mission is to dismantle the Black Dragon criminal organization. Alongside Lieutenant Sonya Blade, Jax has successfully seized numerous Black Dragon weapons caches. However, his priority shifted to capturing Kano when the trusted informant was revealed to be a high-ranking Black Dragon member. Kano has consistently outmaneuvered Jax, leading the Special Forces into deadly ambushes. Jax and Sonya eventually cornered Kano on an uncharted island but were overwhelmed by its inhabitants, forcing them into a brutal ritual of combat.
