Old Version Area

Follow this guide to navigate the Old Version Area in MiSide. Learn how to find items, power up the portal machine, and restore power to progress through the game.

Walkthrough:

1. Interact with the phone on the desk, check the message, and download the app.
2. Help Mita with her tasks:
• Pick up laundry items and the laundry basket.
• Prepare chicken soup by clicking ingredients and then cutting vegetables with the slider.
• Earn 450 by playing minigames (ensure Mita has enough energy). Purchase the TV set for 450.
• Find Mita's hairbrush in the kitchen cabinet beside the dining table. Do NOT look in the oven, as this affects a later choice.
• Move the wardrobe by clicking the blinking grid space in Mita's room.
• Give Mita a present.
• Enter the game world and go to the bedroom to find the portal machine. Press the blinking red button to power it up.
• Find the three required items for the scanner: Bowknot (bathroom sink counter), Pencil (bedroom side cabinet or desk), and Spoon (kitchen near sink or on table). Locations may vary.
• Place the items on the scanner and press the blinking red button to scan them. Power up the machine again and stand on the portal pad.
• Go left out the door to the front door and interact with the fuse box to restore power.
• Return to the portal console and find the four missing batteries:
• Battery 1: Bathroom cabinet beside the sink.
• Battery 2: Kitchen counter near the sink.
• Battery 3: Living room in front of the radio beside the TV.
• Battery 4: Kitchen fridge. After grabbing this, pick up the fallen magnets and place them back on the fridge.
• Place the batteries in their blinking red spots on the console.
• Press the power button and stand on the portal pad. You will still be in the virtual world.
• Walk towards the bathroom door, and when you can't enter, turn around to see Mita appear.
Tips
• Looking in the oven for the hairbrush will block the 'Stay' choice later. This is fine on the first playthrough.
• Mita's energy limits which minigames you can play.
• Item and battery locations can sometimes be randomized.
