Learn how to play the console games Dairy Scandal and Penguin Piles, and then dive into the card game with Mita in MiSide's 'Things Get Weird' quest.

Alright, after all that's happened, Mita wants to chill and play some games. First things first, before you even think about cards, you gotta hit up the console games. Look for the blue controller on the coffee table in the living room and interact with it.

You've got two minigames to choose from: Dairy Scandal and Penguin Piles. They aren't strictly required for the story, but hey, they unlock some achievements if you're into that!

  • Dairy Scandal: This is a fight to the finish! Your goal is to take out all four of Mita's lives. Just mash E to hit until her health bar is empty. Use W/S to jump and crouch and A/D to move. The easiest way to win is to stay in the center, hold S to crouch, and just spam the attack button.
  • Penguin Piles: This one's way more relaxed. Just use WASD to move around the screen and grab as many snowballs as you can. If you collect the most by the end, you win. Simple as that!

If you manage to win both rounds of Penguin Piles, you'll snag the 'Have a Snowball!' achievement. And if you beat Mita in Dairy Scandal, you'll get the 'Beaten and sour' achievement.

Once you're done with the console games, head to the bedroom (it's the door next to the kitchen door now) and interact with the cards on the table. The trick here is to pick the cards with the highest skill that matches the coin shown in the center of the table (or top left of your screen). This determines the skill you need to win the round.

Things get interrupted mid-card game by a banging sound from the wardrobe. Go check it out! Press E to interact with it, then spam Q to try and open it. Mita will try to stop you, and you'll be faced with a choice: Refuse or Stay. Keep in mind, you can only choose to 'Stay' if certain conditions are met, so don't worry if it's not an option on your first playthrough.

If you choose to Refuse, Mita gets annoyed, snaps her fingers, and turns out the lights. This earns you the 'So very dark…' achievement. After the lights go out, you can try to open the wardrobe door again. Inside, you'll find another locked door. Head back out of the bedroom towards the bathroom and turn off the radio on the dresser by pressing E. Then, go into the kitchen to investigate a rattling noise and grab a flashlight from the sink (press E).

Back in the living room, the bathroom door will be open. You'll notice chairs blocking the front door, so you'll have to go around the left side of the couch towards the bathroom. The door slams shut behind you, but go inside anyway. You won't be able to leave until after some creepy encounters with Mita. Once that's done, head into the kitchen where Mita will disappear. You'll see words appear on the walls telling you to find her. Go back into the kitchen, and you'll find Mita sitting behind the counter. She'll turn her head away, and then you'll get a brief jumpscare when you look towards the door.

Head back to the living room, and you'll see half of Mita near the bathroom door. Follow her legs to the bedroom and grab the key from the nightstand. This key unlocks the basement door, letting you continue your journey!
