BOSS: ROGON KING

Master the Rogon King boss fight in Metal Eden! Learn the mermaid's strategy, dodge the light sphere, and defeat this relatively easy foe to progress.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• As a mermaid, his claw swipes deal only about 15 damage per hit. You need to be hit seven times to be defeated.
• The Rogon King is generally considered weak.

Phases:

1. Rogon King Attacks: He'll swipe with his claws and fire a sphere of light.
2. Light Sphere Effect: If the light sphere hits you, your vision will be severely limited to a small radius, making the Rogon King invisible outside of it.

Strategy:

• When battling as a mermaid, attack from an upper diagonal angle. This makes it difficult for the Rogon King to hit you.
• The main threat is the sphere of light. Swim away from it immediately to avoid being blinded.
• If you *are* blinded by the light sphere, stay alert and be ready to bite if the Rogon King appears anywhere near you. The blindness is temporary.
• Since the Rogon King is weak, this battle shouldn't give you too much trouble.

After the Battle:

• After defeating the Rogon King, head left into a regal hallway where dolphins will cheer you on with victory music.
• The music will turn ominous again as the leader of the whales appears. In gratitude for defeating the crystal-abusing Rogons, he'll clear the cloud over Eden in Africa and restore your rhinoceros body.

Moving On:

• To continue, go to the Domain of Ditryma and use the stone arrangement to travel to Africa.
• Head to the new stage north of where you fought the Queen Bee.
