Walkthrough

After crossing the bridge, read the wall sign for directions.

Head east and all the way south to find Warp Pipe (#4).

Enter and exit Warp Pipe #4 to activate it for later use.

Leave this area and go back north and west.

Head south past the trees, then west along the dirt path towards the Chateau.

Follow the path west, then southward.

Continue south and jump from ledge to ledge to reach the top of the plateau.

Cross the plateau to the next area.

Stand on the platform at the northmost edge and Spin Jump (a special jump move) to the north.

Jump up to where the guards are and speak to them.

Mario will flash the Beanbean Brooch (an item) to the guards, and they will allow you entry.

Follow the path through the trees, fighting enemies along the way.

Go up into the next area where the Chateau is located.

Head inside the Chateau.
