Beanstone Search

Hey there! So, you're looking to track down those elusive Beanstones, huh? It's a pretty neat little side quest that rewards you with the Bros. Rock badge. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. It's not too complicated once you know the trick!

First things first, you'll need to find an old man hanging out south of the Fashion Shop. He's the one who's all about these Beanstones and wants your help digging them up. He's looking for 10 of them, and if you manage to bring them all back to him, he's got a nice little reward waiting for you.

The real secret to finding these Beanstones is using Mario when he's in his small form. Just have him wander around the areas. When he gets close to a Beanstone, you'll see an exclamation mark pop up over his head. The bigger the circle that appears around the exclamation mark, the closer you are. When that circle gets as big as it can possibly get, that means you're standing right on top of the Beanstone!

Once you've found the spot, you'll need to switch back to regular-sized Mario and then have Luigi come in to do his signature pound move. Luigi will smash into the ground, and that's how you'll recover the Beanstone. Easy peasy!

Beanstone Locations:

1. In front of the south archway (western region).
2. Just south of the right pillar in the north archway (western region).
3. In front of the Fashion Shop (western region).
4. To the left of southwest building's entrance (western region).
5. To the right of the north archway (western region).
6. At the bottom of the large staircase (eastern region).
7. In the lower plateau in front of Information Shop (eastern region).
8. Atop the rightmost plateau in the south (eastern region).
9. On a ledge to the north of southeast building (eastern region).
10. To the left of west entrance to the long building (eastern region).

After you've collected all 10 Beanstones, head back to that old man you first spoke to. He'll be super happy you found them all and will hand over the Bros. Rock badge. Congrats, you've completed the Beanstone Search!
