Part 5

In the Master Hall, investigate the vase for gold and go south. Suck gold pieces above the door.

Enter the Parlor. Spin the fan on the roof with your vacuum to release gold. Investigate the northern wall for more gold. Find a golden bone in the southwestern table (random). Zap the clock on the northern wall with the Strobulb to reveal a gemstone.

Use your vacuum on the phonograph to spawn two weak ghosts. Defeat them, then a red ghost will appear. Stun it, suck it up, and mash the B Button. Grab the gear it drops.

Backtrack to the Master Hall, then go through the northwestern door into the Bedroom.

In the Bedroom, suck wallpaper above the radiator for gold. Collect gold from coats on the west side and from nearby shelves. Look through the hole behind the coats to find the Study and a gear. Look behind panels in the northeastern corner for a mushroom-shaped gem.

To enter the Study, suck the big, red string on the wall to pull down the bed. Examine the bed to be pulled into the Study.

In the Study, open the northern drawers for gold and/or hearts. Go further north to trigger a ghost battle. Defeat four green ghosts and then the red ghost. Try to stun ghosts and take out the rats. Grab the gear.

Remove the northwestern curtains to reveal a painting and bats; defeat the bats with the Strobulb. Pull back the rug to reveal a switch that puts out the fireplace fire. Pull the next set of curtains for 100+ gold. Enter the fireplace.

You are now in the Studio. Defeat two blue ghosts. Use the pulling technique (move Circle Pad opposite Luigi's movement and press A) to defeat ghosts, including the red one. Grab the gear.

Investigate the northeastern drawers for items (hearts found). Pull the curtain off the painting. Investigate the camera from the southwest to see something in the mirror. Suck upwards (R+X) around the northwest corner to get a gem.

Pull the southwestern cloth to grab 60 Gold. Investigate the eastern urn for gold. Suck up nearby dirt. Exit to the Common Hall.

In the Common Hall, head north. Suck 75 Gold from the green stack on the table. Suck the nearby curtain for bats; shoot them down with the Strobulb. Further east, suck the cheese poster and sequential posters behind it to see the library through the wall.

Return to where you entered the area and go south. Suck the cloth off the wall and enter the hole to find the Secret Pocket.

In the Secret Pocket, grab gold from vacuumable dirt piles. Find a key at the end of the path. There is a hole looking into the Studio. Return to the Common Hall.

In the Common Hall, there is a hole south of the Secret Pocket doorway looking into the Lab. Vacuum up the rug from the south end moving north for gold. Use the door to the right and go into the Foyer. Exit to the southeast into the Coatroom.

In the Coatroom, remove the rug to reveal a golden ghost. Stun it, then mash the B Button to defeat it and get 65 Gold. Backtrack to the Common Hall and exit to the southwest into the Lab.

In the Lab, go west and defeat two green ghosts, then the red ghost. Grab the gear. E. Gadd will call. Suck up something at the southern end of the room. Suck up a cobweb next to the door.
