Side Cases

Learn how to unlock and complete all 42 Side Cases in Lost Judgment, including those from the Request Board, streets, story, and Girlfriends. Get rewards and earn SP.

Side Cases are optional missions in Lost Judgment that become available starting in Chapter 3, primarily through the "Buzz Researcher" app. Some cases require story progression. Completing them rewards money, SP, and other items, making it advantageous to finish as many as possible.

The in-game map marks Side Case locations with a cyan-colored diamond. This icon indicates either a stopping point for an active case or the starting location for a new one.

There are four ways to acquire Side Cases:

• Requests: Available on dedicated boards in Yokohama and Kamurocho. Check availability via the "Check Requests" app, but initiate from the board.
• On the Streets: Appear as map icons; more become available as the story progresses. Go to the icon to start.
• Through the Story: Six Side Cases are unmissable and integrated into the main plot.
• Girlfriends: Each Girlfriend has four associated Side Cases. Some start the relationship, others occur as you grow closer. Note that only one Girlfriend is in the base game; the others are part of the Detective Essentials Pack DLC.

The base game features a total of 42 Side Cases. The naming of these cases can be inconsistent across different in-game menus (bulletin board, pop-up name, Pause Menu folder). The list below uses the names as they appear in the Pause Menu. Links are provided to specific sections for each case, which may have different names on the Requests board.

The Detective Essentials Pack DLC adds twelve more Side Cases, bringing the total to 54. These are all related to the additional Girlfriends (four per Girlfriend).
