Alright, so you're jumping into Lost Judgment and want a quick rundown of who's who? No worries, this guide will give you a refresher on the key players without diving into any major spoilers. Think of it as a quick meet-and-greet before the real action starts.

Takayuki Yagami - This is our main man, the protagonist of the Judgment series. Yagami's past is pretty heavy; his parents were murdered, and the whole situation got complicated with the legal system. After a stint as a lawyer where he actually managed to win a tough case, a subsequent event made him hang up his legal robes. Now, he's a private detective chilling in Kamurocho, solving mysteries.

Masaharu Kaito - Yagami's partner at the detective agency. Kaito used to be a big shot in the yakuza world with the Matsugane Family. After some trouble, he ended up joining forces with Yagami, who looked up to him like an older brother. While Kaito might not be a legal whiz, he's got serious street smarts and can throw down when needed.

Ryuzo Genda - The owner of the Genda Law Office and a lawyer Yagami sees as a father figure. Genda is a wise old-timer who's always ready with some solid advice for Yagami's cases.

Saori Shirosaki - A sharp and talented lawyer at Genda Law Office. She can seem a bit no-nonsense, but she's got a sweet tooth and knows how to let loose.

Issei Hoshino - The youngest lawyer on the team at Genda Law Office. He might be new to the game, but he's got the drive to make up for his lack of experience.

Mitsugu Matsugane - (Deceased) The former head of the Matsugane Family. He played a key role in helping a young Yagami find his footing after a tragedy, and Yagami considered him a fatherly figure.

Fumiya Sugiura - You'll meet this energetic young guy who was initially part of a group of parkouring troublemakers. After crossing paths with Yagami, he becomes a valuable ally, bringing his street smarts and agility to the fight for justice.

Makoto Tsukumo - This guy is a tech wizard, practically living online in the previous game. He's a whiz with computers and hacking. In this game, he's starting to come out of his shell a bit more.

Mafuyu Fujii - A prosecutor and friend of Shirosaki from their law school days. Even though they're on opposite sides of the courtroom, she often teams up with the Genda Law Office. There's also a hint of something more between her and Yagami.
