Coliseum Bosses Guide: Like Dragon Gaiden

Master the Coliseum challenges in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Learn strategies for Masaru Watase-ish, Kazuma Kiryu-esque, and Ryuji Goda-ish boss fights.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Masaru Watase-ish Man: Aggressive but exploitable. Weak to dodging and quick-stepping.
• Kazuma Kiryu-esque Man: Uses sword and gun. Can be challenging due to his combo and range.
• Ryuji Goda-ish Man: Fights in three phases: sword, then summons two tigers (Cream and Sugar), then fights with fists in Heat mode.

Phases:

1. Masaru Watase-ish Man: Basic attacks, then enrages with an ultimate attack. Returns to basic attacks.
2. Kazuma Kiryu-esque Man: Four-hit combo (sword + gun). Jumps back and slashes. Powers up at half health, uses ultimate attack.
3. Ryuji Goda-ish Man:
   1. Phase 1: Sword combat. Aggressive. Dodge and counter.
   2. Phase 2: Fight two tigers, Cream and Sugar. Use katana or fists. Tigers have a purple aura before pouncing.
   3. Phase 3: Fights with fists in Heat mode. Uses ultimate attack. Attempts grab moves.

Strategy:

• Masaru Watase-ish Man: Easily dodge his bat swings with a quick step. Avoid his two-hit combo. After he enrages, his attacks remain largely the same.
• Kazuma Kiryu-esque Man: Dodge his four-hit sword and gun combo. For his jumping slash, either dodge completely or use the Ultimate Counter. Consider using Heat Actions when your Heat gauge is full. Your allies are weak and will fall quickly.
• Ryuji Goda-ish Man: In Phase 1, dodge his sword slashes and counter. In Phase 2, use the katana or fists against the tigers. Watch for their purple aura to anticipate pounce attacks. In Phase 3, use the Ultimate Counter for his ultimate attack. Quick step to avoid his grab attempts. His fist attacks are generally manageable due to his aggressiveness.

Upon winning the final fight, you will receive a prize and witness some scenes. The Coliseum is not fully unlocked yet; you will need to return later. Head back to the Helipad and speak to Akame to return to Sotenbori.
