Tetsu Amon Boss Guide

Tetsu Amon is a tough Hell Team Rumble boss in Like a Dragon Gaiden. Learn the best party compositions, enemy weaknesses, and strategies to overcome this challenge.

Alright, so you've made it to Tetsu Amon in the Coliseum. This guy's a Hell Team Rumble, which means your party setup is absolutely crucial. Don't even think about going in unless your team is maxed out – level 20 for everyone, and a bond level of 3. Trust me, you'll need every bit of that power.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Tetsu Amon: Has an insane amount of health, wields a laser attack (similar to JUSTICE), a rocket launcher, and a devastating machine gun super special.
• Lesser Robots (10): These guys are tough and can use ultimate attacks. Be prepared to use your Ultimate Counter.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: The Swarm

   You'll face Tetsu Amon alongside ten other robots. The key here is to manage the crowd and deal with the threats effectively. The lesser robots are no joke and can dish out significant damage.

2. Phase 2: Amon's Assault

   As you focus on Tetsu Amon, you'll need to watch out for his specific powerful attacks. His laser, rockets, and especially his machine gun super special can wipe your team if you're not careful.

Strategy:

• Party Composition is Key: You'll want two healers, with Higashi and KATSUWO being top-tier choices due to their team-wide heals. For defense, Kaito (whose special buffs everyone's defense) and the Super Guard Machine (high health and defense) are excellent.
• Offensive Powerhouses: Fill the rest of your team with strong attackers. Fumiya Sugiura, Sheep Man, and Chicken Man are great picks with powerful specials. Keita Kuroyanagi is also a solid choice. Round out your team with Yappi-kun and Gary Buster Holmes.
• Kiryu's Stats: Make sure Kiryu himself is also maxed out in attack and health.
• Dealing with Robots: You have two main approaches: either focus down the lesser robots first, or go directly for Tetsu Amon. Be mindful of the timer – it's a real challenge in this fight.
• Ultimate Counter: The lesser robots have ultimate attacks, so make sure you're ready to use the Ultimate Counter to mitigate damage.
• Watch for Amon's Specials: Tetsu Amon's laser and rocket launcher are dangerous. His machine gun super special is particularly deadly and can hit multiple allies – avoid it at all costs if you see it charging.
• Don't Get Discouraged: Some of your party members might get KO'ed, and that's okay. The main goal is to survive the onslaught and defeat Tetsu Amon. If you can manage this, you'll be ready for the final challenge, Gai Amon.
