Each region in Legends of Runeterra has its own 'Regional Road,' a progression track that rewards you with cards, wildcards, and champion capsules specific to that region. As you earn XP from playing games and completing quests, you'll advance along the regional road of your choice. You can switch which regional road you're progressing on at any time. Prioritize completing regional roads for regions whose cards you want to collect or for champions you wish to play. This is a great way to target specific cards.
